About This Trip

Day 1: International Arrival, Bangkok
Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be greeted by your guide and then escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest in your room or step out to explore this beautiful city on your own.

Day 2: Bangkok
After breakfast, visit the significant landmarks of Bangkok: Wat Traimit, Wat Arun and Wat Pho.
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, transfer to the dazzling Royal Grand Palace and the beautifully decorated Wat Phra Kaew nearby. Later, visit the Jim Thompson House, a museum housing the art collection of American businessman and architect Jim Thompson.

Day 3: Bangkok
Drive to the outskirt of Bangkok to visit the Train Market, a very unusual market because a train runs through the middle of it several times a day. After that, enter the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, a bustling and world-famous floating market great for photo opportunities and local lifestyle.

Day 4: Bangkok - Siem Reap
Enjoy some free time before transferring to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and then escorted to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax yourself or discover this historical city on your own.

Day 5: Siem Reap
Head for the South Gate of Angkor Thom, visit the Bayon Temple inside best known for the mysterious and serene stone faces and the massive viewing platform of Elephant Terrace.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world with a perfect blend of creative ambition and spiritual devotion, and then proceed to the Bakheng Hill (Bakheng Temple) to enjoy the spectacular sunset view of the distant Angkor Wat in the jungle.

Day 6: Siem Reap
Today, start with a half-day pottery tour to have great fun with your kids. You will take the pottery class to make your own ceramic artifact on the potter wheel. If you like, you can also attend the ''Paint Your Own Pottery'' course to learn how to paint your own pieces with the special ceramics paint.
After lunch, visit Ta Prohm Temple, a jungle temple bound by massive roots of huge trees growing out of its walls, followed by the Ta Keo Temple, an unfinished mountain temple built entirely of sandstone by Khmers.

Day 7: Siem Reap - Ho Chi Minh City
This morning, you will visit the Khmer Village, where you will get to know the self-sufficient lifestyle of local people and enjoy the enchanting view of the rice fields and palm trees. Later, take a boat tour on the Tonle Sap Lake, one of the most unique ecological water wonders in the world.
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and then escorted to your hotel.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City
This morning, start with a visit to the legendary underground Cu Chi Tunnels, once the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War. After that, visit the bustling Ben Thanh Market, the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), Old Saigon Post Office and the Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat).

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be - Ho Chi Minh City
Today, you will enjoy a one-day Mekong Delta tour. Transfer to Cai Be (about 2 hours' drive) and then take a boat ride cruising along the Mekong River to Cai Be Floating Market. Later, get off on an island to visit the popcorn, rice paper and coconut candy making workshops. Walk to a local family at the village for authentic local lunch. Continue the boat trip along the canals to Cu Lao Tan Phong to cycle around the village, stop at rice fields and watch farmers doing their work (depending on season). In the afternoon, return back to Ho Chi Minh City by car.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi
This morning, enjoy some free time before taking your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, start the city tour directly with the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, the Old Quarter (by a rickshaw), Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the Water Puppet Show from there, a very typical form of Vietnamese art performed in a water pool as its stage.

Day 11: Hanoi - Halong Bay
Today, you will start a 1.5-day fantastic Halong Bay cruise. After a 3-hour scenic drive to Halong Bay, you will board the cruise and check in to your private cabin to have a rest or walk out to admire the ethereal beauty of this majestic natural wonder dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets. You will also visit the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, and enjoy optional activities like kayaking, swimming and diving.

Day 12: Halong Bay - Hanoi
Today, after a half day wonderful experience on the Halong Bay cruise, you will disembark at noon and drive back to Hanoi (about 3-hour drive) for overnight.
