Day 1: Arrival, Bangkok
Say hello to Thailand! Upon arrival in Bangkok, your guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. You can take the rest of the day to have a good rest after a long flight.

Day 2: Bangkok
In the morning, start your journey with a visit to the Grand Palace and the Wat Phra Kaew nearby. Later, take a boat trip sailing the Chao Phraya River to explore different areas of the city and a serial of attractions like Wat Traimit, Wat Arun and Wat Po, all are of great significance in Thailand.

Day 3: Bangkok
In the morning, transfer to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand. You'll first visit Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, followed is a tour to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhol, a restored Buddhist temple dating back to the Ayutthaya Kingdom period.
In the afternoon, embark a boat and sail back to Bangkok, observing the way of rural life along the river. Enjoy your lunch on the boat. After disembarkation, enjoy leisure time for tomorrow's trip.

Day 4: Bangkok - Chiang Mai
In the morning, fly to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and have a short break. Visit the wondrous and holy temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which is located near the top of Mount Doi Suthep. A wide walkway around the main temple leads you to a large viewing terrace with terrific views down over Chiang Mai.
Optional: Enjoy a Khantoke Dinner and Cultural Show in the evening (on your own expense).

Day 5: Chiang Mai
Today, you will make some new friends by visiting the inhabitants of Baan Chang Elephant Park. After leaving the hotel at around 8:30 to 9:00, 50 minutes later you will be meeting, playing with, touching and bathing the elephants which live in this sustainable, ethical tourism park. After a vegetarian lunch for yourself, you will help prepare another for the elephants then feed them. Before returning to Chiang Mai, the Elephant's Day Care ends with a visit to the nursery area to meet the delightful baby elephants

Day 6: Chiang Mai
Today, attend a half-day cooking class. On the way to the class, you will stop at a local market for a brief tour and a selected chef will teach you how to make tasty Thai food. Then enjoy your self-made lunch! You can have a free leisurely time for the rest of the day.

Day 7: Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai
In the morning, depart for Chiang Rai by car. On the way, make a short stopover at a hot spring. Make your way through the countryside, passing rice paddy fields and mountains. Upon arrival in Chiang Rai, visit the Wat Phra Singh, and proceed to the Mae Sai Border. Continue to the Golden Triangle in Chiang Sean, where the three countries meet: Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar.

Day 8: Chiang Rai - Chiang Khong - Houayxay - Pakbeng
After Breakfast, depart for Chiang Khong, a small town in Chiang Rai. Then get on a boat crossing Khong River to Houayxay Checkpoint. Your guide will help you apply for Laos Visa. When all set and done, cruise down the Mekong River to Pakbeng. Along the river, stop at a village and observe the natural lifestyle of Ban Gon Durn before enjoying a buffet lunch on board. The boat trip ends at Luang Say Lodge and then you'll have dinner on the terrace where you can have a paranoiac view of the Mekong River.

Day 9: Pakbeng - Luang Prabang
Walk around Pakbeng Market in early morning before breakfast, where people from the surrounding minority villages sell their goods. Check out and take the Luang Say boat for cruising up to Luang Prabang. Next stop is Ban Baw to observe the processing of the traditional rice alcohol. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board. Further up the trip, the boat stops opposite the mouth of the Nam Ou River to visit Pak Ou Caves where thousands of Buddha images are found. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will meet you at the pier and then escort you to the hotel.

Day 10: Luang Prabang
In the morning, you may wish to start the day early to watch the alms giving procession before a visit to the lively morning Phousi Market.
In the afternoon, visit the fascinating Royal Palace Museum that hosts a range of interesting artifacts, the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai.
Later, climb up Mount Phousi overlooking the city and the Mekong River before passing by a lovely night market.

Day 11: Luang Prabang
In the morning, head to Kuang Si Waterfalls. The many tiered waterfalls have scooped out small basins of turquoise color. You can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools. On the way, explore the Lao ethnic minority groups: Ban Ouay Village, Ban Ou Village and Ban Thapene Village, where people still adhere to a traditional lifestyle, with colorful outfits and unique customs. After that, enjoy a relaxing picnic near the waterfall and then drive back to the hotel before sunset.

Day 12: Luang Prabang - Siem Reap
In the morning, fly to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up and accompany you to the hotel. You'll have a free leisure time the whole day. Experience an enchanting night with the mesmerizing Apsara Dinner Show.

Day 13: Siem Reap
Start your discovery of Angkor with a visit to Angkor Thom, the heavily fortified city built in the 10th century. Inside the old city, you will continue to the Bayon Temple, one of the finest examples of classical Khmer architecture; and the Elephant Terrace.
In the afternoon, proceed to Angkor Wat, one of the largest religious structures in the world and covering an area 480 acres encircled by an enclosure wall nearly four miles long. At last, ascend the Bakheng Temple. The views from the top are magnificent and it's the most popular spot for Angkor Wat at sunset.

Day 14: Siem Reap
Today, you'll first visit Banteay Srei Temple, a temple of great beauty. On the way, you can pay a visit to some local villages. After having lunch, continue to Ta Prohm Temple, one of the most spectacular effects of the forest's encroachment on the temple is the way that the trees have grown into and around the towers and galleries. Next is Ta Keo Temple, one of the tallest monuments in Angkor.

Day 15: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
You'll visit the Khmer Village and get to see how people live in harmony with animals and in peace in their village. Continue to the Tonle Sap Lake, where you will take a boat to visit the floating village and see the way people living in floating house, floating school, restaurant and church. After that, fly to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.- B L

Day 16: Phnom Penh
Your sightseeing tour begins with a visit to one of Phnom Penh's landmarks, the Royal Palace built in 1866. Followed is the impressive Silver Pagoda before a exploring the National Museum which houses a wonderful and extensive collection of both pre- and post- Angkorian pieces. Then, admire the city's namesake, Wat Phnom.
In the afternoon, take an excursion to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Cambodia's infamous Killing Fields of Choeung EK to learn about the dark history.

Day 17: Phnom Penh - Bangkok
After breakfast, take your flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up and escort you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to spare.

In the morning, enjoy your last stay in Bangkok and then your guide will escort you to the airport for your return flight.
