Day 1: Arrival - Bangkok
Welcome to Thailand! At the airport, you will meet your personal guide and driver, who will accompany you to your hotel and help you settle in. There may be some free time, you may like to explore the nearby shopping or relax in the room.

Day 2: Discovery of Bangkok
Meet your guide at the appointed time and set off for the flower market that supplies colorful tropical fruits and flowers to the locals for worshiping the Buddha. Then, walk into the Grand Palace to marvel at the glistening royal buildings, including Wat Phra Kaew dedicated to the Emerald Buddha.
After an authentic Thai lunch at a local restaurant, take a long-tail boat cruising along the Khlongs to discover the other side of Bangkok, the outdated but vibrant lifeways beyond the dazzling skyscrapers and shining temples. The boat cruise also provides perfect perspectives to view Wat Arun - the splendid Temple of the Dawn. Afterward, visit Wat Pho to pay your respect to the 46-meter-long Reclining Buddha and get some ideas about the origins of Thai traditional massage.

Day 3: Free Day in Bangkok
It's a free day at your disposal. Whether for shopaholics or food lovers, Bangkok has much to offer. For those who want a deeper glimpse into local life, we suggest an optional excursion to two exotic markets out of Bangkok.
Optional: The floating market and train market
While squashing into the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market on a small wooden boat, you can haggle over mouth-watering snacks or small gifts with local peddlers and take lots of pictures with vibrant Thai flavors. Later, at the train market, you will watch vendors compete for spaces and times with passing trains.

Day 4: Bangkok - Chiang Mai
Breakfast at the hotel and then be privately transferred to the airport for the flight to Chiang Mai. On arrival, meet your local guide and driver at the airport for the onward transfer to the hotel.
The afternoon is for a guided tour of the cultural capital of northern Thailand, with the massive Wat Chedi Luang and the lavish Wat Phra Singh providing good examples of ancient Lanna-style architecture. When getting to Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep on the summit of the mountain with the same name, you will be amazed by the imposing views over the city.

Day 5: Close Touch of Asian Elephant
Join other animal lovers visiting Baan Chang Elephant Park, a family-run park dedicated to caring for Asian elephants. Here, you can help to prepare food for these magnificent animals, roam with them leisurely, learn about their behaviors in the natural environment, and watch them bathing and splashing water.

Day 6: Chiang Mai - Luang Prabang
Have a free morning to explore more of Chiang Mai at your pace.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Luang Prabang. On arrival, meet your Laos guide and driver for a short drive to the hotel.
Optional: Lanna Family Visit and Cooking Experience (Join-in)
As the capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom that ruled northern Thailand nearby five centuries, Chiang Mai is a place to get involved in traditional Thai life. On this tour, you will visit a family in a Lanna neighborhood, learn about their exotic lifestyles, try to cook authentic favored dishes and enjoy what you cook as the locals usually do.

Day 7: Luang Prabang
The cultural sightseeing in Luang Prabang includes the Royal Palace Museum, Wat Sene, and Wat Xieng Thong. Next, get on a boat to take in the rustic country views along the Mekong River and explore the sacred Pak Ou Cave hosting thousands of Buddha statues in various sizes and materials.
On the way back to the city, have a detour to Ban Xangkhong Village to see the locals weaving silk and making Saa-paper (mulberry paper). Then, marvel at the city's largest standing Buddha statue at Wat Visoun, the nearby shrine of Wat Aham, and the richly decorated Wat Mai.

Day 8: Luang Prabang
Get up early to join the morning alms-giving ritual at around 5:40 am and explore the morning market to glimpse into local life. After that, return to the hotel and have the rest of the morning at your disposal.
Continue the guided tour in the afternoon to the minority village of Ban Na. There, you will see local farmers going on their daily life in their simple wooden huts or working hard on their farms while their livestock and poultry roam freely in the village. Then, refresh at the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall, cooling off in its turquoise pools or taking a short hike along the forest trails.

The tour ends today. After having breakfast, your driver and tour guide will pick you up and take you to the airport for your flight.
