About This Trip
This 13-day all the classic highlights of Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Beginning in Bangkok, visit Buddhist landmarks and cruise to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. You will then fly to Siem Reap to visit the Angkor ruins and Tonle Sap Lake. Finish your tour in Vietnam, where you will explore the chaotic streets of old Hanoi, the metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, as well as cruise through the dotted islands of Ha Long Bay, and see rural life with a Mekong Delta discovery.

Day 1: Bangkok
Sawasdee! Welcome to Bangkok! Upon your arrival at the airport, your guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel to check in. You're free for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Bangkok
Stroll around the vibrant morning flower and vegetable market and inhale the fresh fruit and flower aromas! The next stop is the Grand Palace, the iconic site of Bangkok. Inside the royal grounds sits Wat Phra Kaew, the holiest Buddhist temple in Thailand.
After lunch, hop aboard a long-tail boat and cruise along the canal leisurely. Wat Arun, the city's most famous temple, is where your tour will conclude.

Day 3: Bangkok
This morning, you'll visit the Train Market where you'll find shrimp, bright red lobsters and tons of squid. Next, explore the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market where you can try some mango and sticky rice soup with fish balls. Return to Bangkok for a trip to Jim Thompson House, a museum housing the art collection of American businessman and architect Jim Thompson.

Day 4: Bangkok - Siem Reap
Enjoy some free time in Bangkok until you're escorted to the airport to take a flight to Siem Reap. On your arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel to check in.

Day 5: Siem Reap
In the morning, explore the magnificent Angkor Thom. First visit the South Gate where you'll see giant statues of gods and devils lining both sides of the gate, then tour the Bayon Temple which features multitude of serene and massive stone faces, followed by an exploration of Elephant Terraces.
After lunch, visit the marvelous UNESCO protected Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, and then climb the Bakheng Hill (a Hindu temple in the form of temple mountain) to get a well-deserved sunset view of Angkor Wat from afar.

Day 6: Siem Reap
You may also want to see the stunning sunrise of Angkor Wat, so we recommend an early visit to capture this amazing sight. Your breakfast can be arranged at the hotel later or you can take it away.
Head for the well-preserved Banteay Srei Temple which is famed for its decorative carvings. On the way, you'll have some time to visit some local villages. After that, see two other temples: Ta Prohm Temple where massive trees growing out of the ruins can be seen, and Ta Keo Temple which is believed to be the first temple built entirely of sandstone by Khmers.

Day 7: Siem Reap - Ho Chi Minh City
Start the morning with a visit to a Khmer village where you'll learn about the daily life of the local people and get nice views of the rice field and palm trees. Head for Tonle Sap Lake to take a boat cruise to visit floating schools and houses.
After lunch, fly to Ho Chi Minh City. As soon as you arrive, your guide will meet you and take you to your hotel for check-in. You'll be free for the rest of the day.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel - Ho Chi Minh City
Cu Chi Tunnels, a gigantic underground network, will be your first site to visit this morning. Later, tour other famous attractions like War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), Ben Thanh Market, Old Saigon Post Office, and Dong Khoi Street which is home to a number of French colonial buildings.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City
Today, you will take a 2-hour drive to Cai Be, a river-land mixed town for a full day Mekong Delta Cycling Tour. You'll have lots of fun things to here in the delta: take a boat ride to visit Cai Be Floating Market where you'll see buyers and sellers moving about by boat; see how people make coconut candy, popcorn and rice paper on an island; have some local dishes for lunch with a local family; have a bike ride to explore the village; meet the friendly farmers and see how to grow rice (depending on the season), etc.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi
Enjoy some free time today till you take a flight to Hanoi. When you arrive, start your Hanoi city sightseeing tour with a visit to Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda.
After lunch and hotel check-in, take a rickshaw ride to Old Quarter which is known for its rich history, unique architecture, and a great variety of products. Later, proceed to the tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake and watch an entertaining water puppet show.

Day 11: Hanoi - Halong Bay
You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the laid-back Halong Bay cruise today. After a 3-hour drive from Hanoi, you'll arrive at the world-famous Halong Bay where nearly 2,000 spectacular karst islands rise above the sea. Besides, you'll have the chance to see traditional sampans and junks and observe grottos, forest and hidden coves. What an ocean adventure! To make this trip more enjoyable and exciting, you may join a range of optional activities such as kayaking, swimming, and diving.

Day 12: Halong Bay - Hanoi
This morning, your cruise exploration of Halong Bay goes on and ends with a hearty brunch. As soon as you get off the cruiser, your guide and driver will meet you at the pier and drive you back to the hotel at around 4 pm. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Make the most of your last night in Vietnam!
