Itinerary

Arrival, Casablanca
Upon arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, you will be met at the exit of the airport, and taken to your Casablanca hotel. You will visit the city, and stop at Hassan II Mosque, one of the world's biggest mosques outside of Mecca.

Meal: None - Day 2
Casablanca - Rabat - Fez
After breakfast, you will leave towards Fez. On route, you will stop at Rabat, Your tour in Rabat includes the royal mausoleum, Hassan tower, the ancient necropolis site of Chellah and the fortress of Ouddayas. Visit the Oulja handicrafts village which consists of hundreds of artisans potters who offer high quality traditional products. After tour you will continue on to Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco.

Meal: Breakfast - Day 3
Fez Highlights
After breakfast, you will begin the guided tour of the Fez Medina, one of the world's largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the King's Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience. This afternoon is free to shop or explore this charming city on your own.

Meal: Breakfast - Day 4
Fez - Excursion to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss and Meknes
Today you will set out to explore those great historic ruins. You will spend the morning exploring the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and the holy city of Moulay Idriss. After lunch, your driver guide will take you on a tour of Meknes before heading off to Fez.

Meal: Breakfast - Day 5
Fez - Atlas Mountains - Midelt - Erfoud
After breakfast in the hotel, your English-speaking driver will take you to Erfoud. En-route you’ll pass through a scenic forest of cedars and across the Middle Atlas Mountains range to the mineral mining city of Midelt, where a stop for lunch is scheduled. Continue your journey to Erfoud. The rest day is free at leisure.

Meal: Breakfast - Day 6
Erfoud - The Sahara Desert - Camel Trek
After breakfast in your hotel, you will start an explorative journey of the area; you will visit the nomads in their goat hair tent and learn about the desert life. Afterwards you visit the Gnaoua people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, There play Gnaoua music, you will learn about them and enjoy their music. In the afternoon, you will head off in some 4-wheel drive vehicles across the barren land to the majestic Sahara sand dunes. You will set off by camel for a 2-hour trek out to the oasis where you will spend the night in Berber tents.
Note: this could be optional if you would prefer to return to the hotel to sleep.

Sahara Desert - Tinerhir - Todra Gorges - Dades Oasis
Wake up early and climb a dune to sit or to take some nice pictures. Have a shower and after breakfast, transfer to Dades Gorge with a detour at Tinerhir famed with its beautiful palm grove, and Jewish quarter. Visit Todra Gorge, the highest oasis valley gorge in Morocco with 300m sheer cliffs and a mouth just 20m wide, Dades Gorge is next, another great spot for trekking and climbing with the sheer colored rock everywhere.

Meal: Breakfast - Day 8
Dades Oasis - Roses Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
After an early breakfast you set off to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. You will visit one of the jewels of Morocco - Ksar of Aït Benhaddou – the UNESCO World Heritage Centre where movies such as Gladiator and Jesus Of Nazareth were filmed. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered usually off the beaten path. You will head over the mountains to Marrakech, free to explore the city after arrival.

Meal: Breakfast - Day 9
Marrakech Discovery
After breakfast, you will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and magical famous Jemaa el-Fnaa again. The tour will end with an exploration of the souk (market).

Marrakech
Free time for you to explore or have some shopping in the old medina. Overnight in Marrakech.

Marrakech - Casablanca, Departure

Dinner is the time when you are free to explore the destination’s hidden delights, but we are always happy to give recommendation or offer assistance. In remote area, meals are likely to be arranged in tourist restaurant or a local family due to limited options.
