Day 1: Arrival, Ulaanbaatar
Upon arrival at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Ulaanbaatar.

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar - Amarbayasgalant
Meet your personal guide in the hotel lobby at 8:00 am and start your big Mongolia tour from the magnificent Amarbayasgalant Monastery. Stop at Darkhan Town for lunch. Early in the evening, you will arrive at the tourist ger camp near the renowned monastery. Have dinner and overnight at the ger camp.

Day 3: Amarbayasgalant - Uran Togoo
This morning, visit the famous Amarbayasgalant Monastery to take part in the morning chants and meet the monks, and then head to the north toward Lake Khuvsgul. Continue on your journey in the picturesque Uran Togoo Mountain in Bulgan province in northern Mongolia. Pay a visit to Uran Togoo, an ancient extinct volcano, and enjoy your hiking trip to the crater. Dinner and overnight at the tourist ger camp.

Day 4: Uran Togoo - Lake Khuvsgul
Today, you will continue to travel to Lake Huvsgul through the Khangai region of Mongolia, where you will definitely admire the natural beauty. Khangai region is a beautiful mountainous area that is rich in wood, wildlife, and rivers. Arrive at Moren Town at noon, have lunch at the local restaurant in town before driving toward Lake Huvsgul.
Driving from Moren to Lake Huvsgul covers slightly more than 150 kilometers. En route, pass across a landscape of green hills studded by rock outcroppings, river valleys with braided channels which crisscross the lush valley floors and skies filled with hunting birds-of-prey. The road can get bumpy as it passes the settlement of Khatgal and enters the forests surrounding the lake. The shore of Lake Huvsgul with your ger camp appears. Arrive in the late afternoon and transfer to the camp for check-in. The remainder of the day at leisure on Lake Huvsgul.

Day 5: Khuvsgul Lake National Park
After breakfast, enjoy 1-hour horseback riding along the shore. The rest of the day is spent in leisurely activities and sightseeing on Lake Huvsgul and its surroundings. There are a number of ways to spend the day, including optional boat journeys, gentle walking, and a visit to the Tsaatan nomads - the "Reindeer People", or optional hiking up the nearest peak.

Day 6: Khuvsgul Lake - Jargalant
Today, drive a path southward, pass Moren and continue to the stunning Khangai Mountains. The mountains themselves vary in character, from stark outcroppings of dun-colored rock to steep green slopes, far more beautiful than the river valleys and isolated ger encampments. Every new turn on the road will show amazing views, and it will take 5-6 hours to the Jargalant Hot Springs, crossing the Tsagaan Burgas (White Bush) Pass. In the evening, you can soak in the curative hot springs.

Day 7: Jargalant - Khorgo
A short drive today brings you into the volcanic surrounds of Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan - the "Great White Lake". The lake is quietly nestled in the embrace of the mountains, with its clear water and long sandy beaches.
The road winds along the shoreline, driving through Shamanic piles of black lava and then a short distance to the inland Khorgo Volcano. It is about 10,000 feet up and now extinct, but it is still respected by nomads in the area. A short walk will take you to the edge of the crater, where red-stained rocks descend into deep canyons and are surrounded by sacred Ovoo mounds. Looking back at Lake Terkh Tsagaan, there is an excellent view over the lake through a small hill pass.

Day 8: Khorgo - Karakorum
Drive to the Karakorum, the 13th-century capital of the Great Mongol Empire ruled by Chinggis Khan. After a short drive in the morning, a picture stopover at Chuluut river canyon. Have a lunch break at Tsetserleg Town where you will visit the Zay Bandida Monastery currently serving as a museum of Khalkh Ethnic.
Continue heading towards the Karakorum in the afternoon with another 3-4 hours. After arrival, visit the newly established Museum of Karakorum which gives a good introduction to Central Mongolia.

Day 9: Karakorum - Elsen Tasarkhai
After breakfast, you will visit the legendary Erdene Zuu Monastery, the first Buddhist monastery in Central Mongolia founded in 1586 and its surroundings the Turtle Rock and the Phallic stone, etc. Proceed to Elsen Tasarkhai (1.5 hours' drive) where you will have a day excursion to Hugnu Khaan Mountain and sand dune on the steppe with a unique area combining forest, semi Gobi sand dunes, and rocky mountains. Enjoy 1-hour camel ride along the dunes.

Day 10: Elsen Tasarkhai - Hustai National Park
Travel to the Hustai National Park where Takhi wild horses graze peacefully with other wildlife. After 3-4 hours' drive, arrive at the camp and enjoy lunch. Later, visit the information center and a local museum. Go deep into the park to spot these beautiful wild horses and other wildlife if lucky. Dinner and overnight at the tourist ger camp.

Day 11: Hustai National Park - Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, you will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. After arrival, visit the Gandan Monastery, housing a 26-meter statue of Bodhisattva. Continue visiting the National History Museum and Sukhbaatar Square. Later on, climb to Zaisan Memorial Hill for a panoramic view of the city. Enjoy traditional folklore concert by the magical Tumen Ekh ensemble.
