Day 1: Arrival, Shanghai
Upon your arrival at Shanghai Pudong Airport, your guide will meet you at the airport with the meeting sign. After check in the hotel, you will have the rest day free at leisure.

Day 2: Shanghai
Discover the vitality of Shanghai on a Urban Area Walking Tour Route A (1 hour) this morning. After it, go to visit Yu Garden & Yuyuan Market. In the afternoon, explore the Xintiandi and Wulixiang Museum. Walk along the Bund to enjoy the historic architectures and views of Pudong.

Day 3: Shanghai - Huangshan
After breakfast, transfer to the station for your high-speed train to Mt. Huangshan (takes about 5 hours). Arrive in Huangshan, drive to Xuanyuan Farm directly. Here you can try your hands on making bean curd, squeezing rapeseed oil by means of Huizhou ancient method and picking vegetables etc.

Day 4: Huangshan
Today's tour allows you to soak up the tranquil atmesphere at the Lingshan Village. Surrounded by bamboo groves, Lingshan Village is famouse for it bamboo craft. Experience the process of pick tea-leaves and visit a local school to communicate with local students. After that, you will be transferred to Tunxi Ancient Street. There you can enjoy a leisurely walk among the ancient buildings and look around to search for a bargain.

Day 5: Huangshan - Mt. Huangshan - Hongcun Village
After Breakfast, drive for one hour and 20 minutes to Yellow Mountain. Today you will spend a full day at the Yellow Mountain (round trip cable car is included). Meander around the many paths at the North Sea and West Sea area, where you can appreciate the breathtaking scenery and photograph the seas of clouds, peculiar-shaped rocks, verdant Pine trees, and rolling mountains, and then, take the cable car to go down the mountain. And then drive to Hongcun Village of Yixian for overnight.

Day 6: Huangshan
Tranquil alleyways, water originating from a picturesque garden and the whole reflects the pursuit of the harmony of man are highlights of today's tour.
After breakfast, you will do Treasure Hunting in the village which enjoys the reputation of 'a village in the beautiful Chinese picture' because of its location at high altitude and being shrouded by clouds and mist. Continue to cycle along the Hongcun Ancient Pathway to listen to the sound of nature for about one hour until reaching some villages and a reservoir with breathtaking views nearby.

Day 7: Huangshan - Beijing
Take high-speed train to Beijing (takes about 6.5 hours) and enjoy the view of China rural areas along the way. Arrival in Beijing, your local guide will meet you at the station and transfer to the hotel. The rest days is free.

Day 8: Beijing
This morning visit the Tiananmen Square followed by the magnificent Forbidden City. This Chinese masterpiece itself is mind blowing to surreal. Onward, climb up the Jingshan Park for a bird eye's view of the Forbidden City. After lunch, explore hutongs on foot (walking 0.5-1h). Soak up the atmosphere of local Beijingers' daily life by painting facial make-up of Peking Opera on a paper mask and watching the Crickets and Grasshoppers in the Hutongs.

Day 9: Beijing
An early start today to drive to less crowed part of Great Wall. Begin to hike uphill the amazing Great Wall at Jinshanling Section for 2-4 hours and you will be rewarded at the end. After the tour, drive back to Beijing.

Make a short journey to the airport for your onward flight with memories of standing on the top of the Great Wall.
