Day 1: Arrival, Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, China! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or meet this historic city on your own.

Day 2: Beijing
After breakfast, you will visit the Tiananmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City, the historical home of the twenty-four emperors from the Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. In the afternoon, you will shuttle in the hutongs by a rickshaw to have a glimpse of the local Beijingers' daily life. Meanwhile in there, painting a facial make-up of Peking Opera on a paper model is an interesting experience worth trying.

Day 3: Beijing
Early in the morning, you will head for the Temple of Heaven, the largest surviving sacrificial complex in ancient China, where many local people do morning exercise.
The highlight of today is the Great Wall, a series of fortifications built in ancient time to defend against the raids and invasions of the various nomadic groups. You will explore the Great Wall at Mutianyu Section (including round-trip cable cars), the part can amaze you with its magnificent landscape while keeping away from the crowd.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
This morning, tour the beautiful Summer Palace, a harmonious combination of Chinese royal buildings, Buddhist pagoda, classical garden designs, manmade hills and lakes. It is known as the representative of the peak period of Chinese garden art. Visit a pearl store afterwards.
Later, you will be escorted to the train station for the high-speed train to Xi'an (about 5.5 hours), a city once held the capital position under several of the most important dynasties in Chinese history.

Day 5: Xi'an
Today, you will start your tour with the amazing Terracotta Warriors and Horses, which were buried with the first Emperor of China , Qin Shihuang, to protect himself in his afterlife. There are more than 8,000 life-size and vivid terracotta statuaries and many amazing statues in it. Followed by you will have a relaxing tour to the Ancient City Wall to experience this vibrant city after a glimpse of a jade gallery.

Day 6: Xi'an - Shanghai
After breakfast, take a short walk in the Muslim Street, which boasts hundreds of shops hawking traditional crafts and local food, and then pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum that hosts a priceless collection of Chinese arts and relics.
After that, take a flight to Shanghai. Your guide will meet you there and help you check in to the hotel.

Day 7: Shanghai
Today is dedicated to exploring the charm of Shanghai. First stop is Yu Garden, which is an amazing landscaped garden that you can experience a sense of peace and harmony. Close by is a bustling bazaar, Yuyuan Market. Stop by a silk workshop to see how cocoon is made into silk.
Later, the Bund and the Former French Concession will show the fascination of both old and new Shanghai here. The last stop is the Shanghai World Financial Center, where you can ascend the 100th floor to be marveled at the skyline of Shanghai city.

You will have the day for free exploration of Shanghai on your own before your guide escorts you to the airport for your homebound flight.
