Day 1: Arrive in Shanghai
When you land on the sparkling Shanghai, be greeted and taken to experience the maglev train on your way to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to adjust to the new time zone or explore the city on your own.

Day 2: Shanghai City Highlights
Take a look at Shanghai's tomorrow at the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and taste its vibrant today along the iconic Bund and busy Nanjing Road. Later visit the French Concession to discover its past and take in the Shikumen buildings unique to Shanghai at Xin Tian Di area.

Day 3: Suzhou Excursion, Shanghai - Suzhou
Today enjoy a pleasant trip to Suzhou, a scenic city famous for beautiful Chinese gardens. There you'll visit the sophisticated Lingering Garden and Pan Gate and drop by the No. 1 Silk Factory. What's more, cruise on the glittering Grand Canal to savor the charm of the old water town. After sightseeing in Suzhou, drive back to Shanghai.

Day 4: Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai - Chengdu
This morning, get on the 100th floor of the Shanghai World Financial Center for a panoramic view of the city before your flight to Chengdu. Once arrive in Chengdu, be met and escorted to the hotel. Have some leisure time this afternoon.

Day 5: Giant Panda & Jinli Old Street
Drive out of the city to meet the cute pandas at Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. After that, get back to the city to visit the quaint Wenshu Temple and enjoy a cup of traditional tea at a tea house inside. Proceed to the River Viewing Tower Park and spend some time at the Jinli Old Street that is full of local snacks and delicacies. Dinner is served at a local restaurant, where you can taste authentic Sichuan Cuisine.

Day 6: At leisure, Chengdu - Lhasa
Enjoy some free time before flying westward to the Tibet Plateau. On your arrival in Lhasa, be met and taken to your hotel in the downtown (about 1.5 hr's drive). The rest of the day is left for you better adjusting to the change of altitude.

Day 7: Lhasa Highlights Tour
Your discovery starts with the flowery Norbulingka Park, which used to be the summer resort of Dalai Lama, followed by the Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery, two of the three largest and sacred Tibetan Buddhism Gelug monasteries in Tibet area.

Day 8: Potala Palace & Jokhang Temple
Today come to admire the landmark on this high land - the majestic Potala Palace. And then move to the Jokhang Temple, a holy old temple where many pilgrims kowtow and walk all day to pay their respect. The rest of the time is yours to explore the flourishing Barkhor Street.

Day 9: At Leisure, Lhasa - Xi'an
Have some free time and then take a flight to Xi'an, an ancient city with stunning historical relics. On arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel for a good rest.

Day 10: Terracotta Warriors & Ancient City Wall
This morning, visit the No. 1 attraction of any Xi'an tour - the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, an over 2,200 years old ghost army with more than 8, 000 life-size vivid terra figurines. Later drop by the Jade Gallery and step on the Ancient City Wall, to see how Chinese people defense invaders on the imposing watchtowers and city wall in ancient times, with a pleasant bike tour on top of the broad city wall.

Day 11: Local Family Visit, Xi'an - Beijing
This morning have a specially arranged local family visit, to chat with the locals and learn making dumplings, noodles and cook Chinese dishes. If time permits, you can also visit a local market with the hostess and visit a Mahjong House to see the laid-back local life. After lunch, fly to the capital Beijing and continue your China discovery.

Day 12: Beijing City Highlights
Get you first insight to Beijing's long history by visiting the iconic Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, the most magnificent imperial complex in China. In the afternoon, explore the old Hutongs on a traditional rickshaw for a glimpse of local Beijing people's life, before a visit to the Longing Pearl Store.

Day 13: Great Wall Tour
The Great Wall at Mutianyu will be today's highlight (incl. round trip cable car). This is a less visited and relatively easy-to-climb section. You can take in the stunning views this imposing fortress project offers. Descending the wall, stroll along the Sacred Road and enjoy some leisure time. On your way back, view the National Stadium (Bird's Net) and Aquatics Center (Water Cube) from the outside.
