Day 1: Arrival, Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, your guide will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel. You can take the rest of the day to recover from jet lag or acclimate to the surroundings.

Day 2: Beijing
In the morning, you'll visit the Tiananmen Square, the central focus of Beijing. Walking across the Tiananmen Gate, you'll get to the Forbidden City, an imperial palace with a history of over 600 years. The relics, gardens and sculptures in it are just amazing. Later, you can get a wide-ranging view of the Forbidden City from Jingshan Park. In the afternoon, visit the Beijing Ancient Royal Observatory used from Ming and Qing Dynasty.

Day 3: Beijing
Today, you'll first visit the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section, around 1.5 hours' drive), one of the greatest wonders in the world and the longest architecture ever built by human beings. Later, visit the Chang Tomb, the largest and the best preserved tomb among 13 Ming Tombs. Lastly, you'll drop by a jade gallery to immerse in the Chinese jade culture.
Optional: We recommend a Chinese Kung Fu Show as an optional night activity to get to know the charm of Chinese martial art.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
In the morning, visit the exquisite Temple of Heaven, where many local people do morning excercise and you can join them to play Tai Chi.
Later, take about 5.5 hours to have a journey of high-speed train to Xi'an. Upon your arrival, your guide will pick you up and transport you to the hotel.

Day 5: Xi'an
Today, your journey starts with the Ancient City Wall for a glimpse of the entire city here. Next, visit the incredible life-sized Terracotta Warriors and Horses. The pottery "army" is made up of more than 8,000 figures including soldiers, horses, chariots, bowmen and archers. Each warrior has a different facial expression. After that, you'll go to the Xi'an Art Ceramics Factory to watch the processing procedure of terracotta, followed by a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
In the evening, have a leisure walk at the 1,500-meter-long Great Tang All Day Mall.

Day 6: Xi'an - Chengdu
In the morning, start today's trip with the Great Mosque, whose grounds are very interesting with various pagodas and buildings. After that, enter the backstreets of the local Muslim community to taste distinctive snacks and enjoy a Shadow Puppet Show at Gao's Courtyard.
Later, your guide will escort you to the railway station to take your high-speed train to Chengdu. Upon your arrival, your guide will greet you and take you to the hotel. The rest of the day is your leisure time.

Day 7: Chengdu
Today, you'll first visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding where you can get a closer view of pandas. It's terrific to see many pandas playing, eating or sleeping.
After that, return to the downtown for a private Sichuan Cuisine cooking class for 3 dishes (around 4-5 hours). Your food guide will take you to purchase all the necessary ingredients and spices which will be used in the cooking class in a dazzling spice market. After arriving at a traditional Sichuan Courtyard where the cooking class will take place, have a short break and enjoy a cup of Sichuan Gaiwan tea. Later, follow the professional chef to make processing of the ingredients till it gets well done. Enjoy your works as dinner.

Day 8: Chengdu - Guilin
Leave for the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival in Guilin airport, your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. After a short break, you will admire the Reed Flute Cave, a fairyland of karst caves with rural landscape and scenery contain stalactites, stone pillars, stone curtains in different shapes, all sparkling in colorful lights. Later, you'll drop by the Museum of South China Sea Pearl to get some knowledge of fresh water pearl.

Day 9: Guilin - Yangshuo
Today, you'll take the Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. Weave your way along the fantastic Li River to see the impressive karst mountain landscapes and the crystal-clear water. You may feel like walking into a traditional Chinese painting.
After the cruise, you will be transferred to your hotel and the rest of day is yours to explore this county on your own.

Day 10: Guilin - Shanghai
Today, you can choose bicycle or private van as your transportation to take an exploration around the countryside of Yangshuo. When the tour ends, your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Shanghai, one of the most charming cities in China. On arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel.- B

Day 11: Shanghai
After breakfast, start your tour from the Bund, where you can see the buildings with various architectural styles. Later, experience the tranquility of Yu Garden and vitality of Yuyuan Market. Before a short visit of a silk factory, you might see monks conducting Buddhist ceremonies in the Jade Buddha Temple. Finally, relax yourself with a leisure walking through Jing'An Villa and Zhang Garden. Stop at Wujiang Road to see how to make Xiaolongbao through the windows and taste some local dim sum.- B L

Day 12: Shanghai, Departure
After breakfast, your guide will accompany you to the airport to take your return flight home.
