Day 1: Arrival, Beijing
Arriving in Beijing is the beginner of your foodie tour. Your local private and driver will pick you up at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Check in at hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Beijing
After breakfast, head to Tiananmen Square whose scale will seldom be found anywhere else in the world. Proceed with the awe-inspiring Forbidden City that shows the resplendence and grandeurof dynasties.
In the afternoon, visit the incredible Temple of Heaven and browse around the Longjing Pearl Store. This evening, taste the delicious Peking Duck at the world-famous Quanjude Restaurant. The duck is so crispy and well roasted and it will be more delicious dipped with the sauce and the wrap.
Optional: Watch a thrilling Chinese Kung Fu Show for optional night entertainment.

Day 3: Beijing
Depart from the hotel for a 1.5 hours' drive to the Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall. As one of world's top 10 wonders, you will admire its grand and awesome constructions. After that, take a leisure stroll on the Sacred Road with stone statues of Ming Dynasty on both sides, which starts from the stone memorial archway and ends at the gate of the Chang Mausoleum.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
Today, walk into hutongs to know more about the old Beijing and see local Beijingers' daily life. There, have a try on painting a facial make-up of Peking Opera and listen to interesting stories told by a cricket trainer. Later, transfer to the railway station for taking a high speed train to Xi'an. Upon arrival, the guide and private transfer will take you to the hotel.

Day 5: Xi'an
Explore the city with the first stop to Terracotta Warriors and Horses. You will see more than 8,000 life-like warriors and horses dug up from the great tomb of China's first Emperor of Qin Shihuang, and all are dressed with different costumes, features and postures. Get a better understanding of jade culture of China at a jade gallery later. Cycle at the Ancient City Wall, a historical site well known as one of the oldest, largest and best preserved Chinese city walls. Your last stop will be Muslim Quarter where you can taste various local snacks and the characteristic Muslim food.
Optional: Tonight, a recommended Tang Dynasty Dancing Show will show you some of the royal entertainment during the Tang Dynasty.

Day 6: Xi'an - Chengdu
Enjoy some time with a local family to know more about daily life of local people. Try your hands at home-made dishes with the host and have them as your meal. If time permits, go to a local market together with the host and have a glance at a local mahjong house. Next transfer is to the railway station for a speed train to Chengdu. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you and take you to the hotel.

Day 7: Chengdu
Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a wonderful place to see lovely giant pandas and you can also cuddle one of them at your expense. The following visit is Wenshu Temple, where you can have a cup of authentic Chinese tea for a break. Later, proceed to Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street where you can fill your hunger in a restaurant of your choice or a cheap try of mouth-bite food at the booth or stalls along the street.

Day 8: Chengdu - Shanghai
In the morning, attend a cooking class to learn more about Sichuang food culture at Sichuan Cuisine Museum, where you can follow your teacher's instruction to cook famous Sichuan food like Kungpao Chicken and Mapo Tofu, and enjoy your works as lunch. Later, drive to the airport for the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to the hotel and assist with check-in.

Day 9: Shanghai
Start the vibrant Shanghai city highlights tour from Shanghai Museum, where you can appreciate a spectacular collection of bronze art, chinaware, artifacts, calligraphy and paintings. Next, take a leisure walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River, the Nanjing Road nearby is called the world's longest shopping street. Browse at a silk factory to learn how the famous Chinese silk is processed. Have a panoramic view of Shanghai from Shanghai World Financial Center later.
Optional: There is a fantastic Acrobatic Show as night activity which will bring you an unforgettable memory.

Day 10: Shanghai
Food coming with culture will be the theme of today's tour. In the morning, take part in morning exercise with local people at Fuxing Park, and then explore Stone Gate, which blends in both Chinese and Western culture. Later, come to a local street where you can see various sidewalk snack booths. Stop to taste the cate and take some local dim sum as lunch. Next, stroll through Yu Garden and Yuyuan Market to enter a food paradise with delicious local street food and trinkets for sale.
