Day 1: Welcome to Beijing
You'll meet your guide at the airport with a name plate in hand when arriving in Beijing. The guide will then take you to the hotel. The rest of the day is for you to recover from jet lag after a long journey or you can get used to the surroundings.

Day 2: Beijing
In the morning, you'll start your journey with a visit to the Tiananmen Square, a must-see place of interest and the most thought-provoking site. Pass the Tiananmen Gate you'll enter the magnificent Forbidden City, a royal palace where emperors used to live in with a history of over 600 years. You'll be amazed by the relics, sculptures, and gardens, etc.
In the afternoon, enjoy your relaxing time in the picturesque Temple of Heaven where the Chinese emperors prayed for rain and for good harvest in the past.
Optional: In the evening, a Chinese Kung Fu show is highly recommended for you to enjoy the stunning Chinese martial art.

Day 3: Beijing
The Great Wall (Mutianyu section, including round-trip cable car) is one of the seven wonders in the world. "Great" is even a small word to describe the massive structure. You can't imagine how majestic it is until you stand on it.
Later, you'll transfer to the Chang Tomb where a lot of history was buried. And you will in awe of how many histories and architectures are dedicated to the tomb.
Today's tour will end with a short visit to a jade gallery.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
Today, take a flight to Xi'an. After hotel check-in with the assistance of your tour guide, get to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and browse through the history of Chinese Buddhism. Next, proceed to the Muslim Quarter, a popular street in Xi'an where you can taste many delicious local snacks. Nearby is Gao's Courtyard where you can enjoy an interesting shadow puppet show.

Day 5: Xi'an
In the morning, visit the remarkable life-sized Terracotta Warriors. It's a part of the mausoleum of Qin Shihuang, the founder of the Qin Dynasty. The burial site holds over 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses in battle formation. Next, you will visit the Xi'an Art Ceramics Factory to know how the warriors were made in ancient times.
In the afternoon, spend some time at the Ancient City Walls, one of the oldest, largest and best preserved Chinese city walls. After that, tour the Bell Tower to appreciate the beautiful paintings and artifacts.
Optional: In the evening, a Tang Dynasty show is recommended for its excellent combination of the music and dance of the golden era of China.

Day 6: Xi'an - Guilin
Fly to Guilin in the morning. Upon arrival and after a short rest, set out to enjoy the beauty of the Reed Flute Cave known as "A Natural Palace of Art". Inside of the cave is massive and photogenic with colored lightning. Pay an educative visit to a pearl museum later on.

Day 7: Guilin - Yangshuo
In the morning, you'll get to the Zhujiang Pier (40 minutes' drive) to take a cruise down the scenic Li River. Sailing along the River, you may sink into an illusion of traveling in a roll of Chinese painting.
After the cruise, you will be escorted to your hotel in Yangshuo. You will free to explore the county and its famous West Street full of local delicacies, clothing, and souvenirs. The street can be quite busy at night with nice bars to grab a drink.
Optional: The fantastic outdoor show, Impression of Sanjie Liu, is recommended to watch in the evening.

Day 8: Guilin - Chongqing
In the morning, your personal guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the railway station, where you can board the high-speed train to Chongqing. Upon arrival, embark the Yangtze Cruise Ship and be ready to start a leisure journey.

Day 9: Yangtze River Cruise
Today, you'll start the fantastic Yangtze Cruise. The scenery along the cruise is amazing. You can experience various activities onboard that will enrich the Yangtze exploration. In the midway, the ship will stop for a shore excursion at the famous Fengdu Ghost City, a great place to learn about some Taoist and Buddhist beliefs.
Back to the ship and continue your cruise. Generally, the captain will host a welcome party in the evening. It's a great opportunity for you to get to know new friends.

Day 10: Yangtze River Cruise
Today, you'll get on a small sampan to the gorgeous Lesser Three Gorges, the second shore excursion during the Yangtze River cruise. The excursion is comprised of Longmen Gorge, Bawu Gorge, and Dicui Gorge. The Gorges is full of rock, precipitous cliffs, green mountains, and thriving groves on both sides. If lucky, perhaps you can see some wildlife among the cliffs. Overall, it's a worthwhile trip in spectacular scenery. After that, return to the cruise ship to continue the journey.

Day 11: Yichang - Shanghai
Today, the last shore excursion you'll take is the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric dam, and an incredible engineering marvel.
Disembark the ship at around 12 noon. You still have some free time before going to the airport. Your tour guide will show you around the local Riverside Park and Yiling Square, you will get this chance to know more information about Yichang city. And then you will be transferred to the airport for your late afternoon flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival in Shanghai, your guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel. You can manage your time for the rest of the day.

Day 12: Shanghai
In the morning, you'll visit the Shanghai Museum which exhibits lots of art treasures of China. Walk on the Shanghai Old Street and visit the Former French Concession to experience the gloriousness of old Shanghai, followed by a silk workshop to see the process of silk making.
Next, you'll visit the beautiful Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden with rich history and culture. The bustling Yuyuan Market nearby is a good place to watch local life.
Optional: In the evening, a breathtaking Acrobatic Show is highly recommended for you which will be an icing on the cake of your stay in Shanghai.

Day 13: Departure
Today, walk along the Bund to have a good view of Shanghai's iconic landmarks group. If you want to collect the best pictures in your photo album, this is the right spot to come. Later, you'll visit the rising Jinmao Tower, where you can overlook the entire city.
By now, your journey has come to the end. Your guide will escort you to the airport for your return flight home.
