Day 1: Arrival, Paro - Thimphu (By Car, About 1.5 Hrs)
Welcome to Paro! Upon arrival, your guide will greet and escort you to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. On the way, you will pass through the Tamchog Lhakhang, an iron bridge that has swaying and undulating movements.
After arrival, check in to the hotel and then begin your tour with the visit to the National Memorial Chorten, a prominent landmark in the city with its golden spires and bells. After visiting the gigantic Buddha Dordenma Statue, continue your visit to the Motithang Takin Preserve to see Bhutan's national treasure animal, Takin. Go through the Zilukha Nunnery, and then stop at the Thimphu Dzong (Trashichho Dzong), which divides into government section and the seat of the central government.

Day 2: Thimphu - Paro
After breakfast, enjoy various exhibitions related to the Bhutanese culture and the way of life at the Folk Heritage Museum, and then proceed to National Painting School, where you can see young Bhutanese learn how to make traditional sculptures and paintings. After that, pay a visit to the Bhutan Post Office Headquarters where travelers can customize stamps with their own photos (USD 4 for 12 stamps at your expense). Stop for lunch and then driving to Paro to get close to the local daily life at a farm house.
Note: If you want to customize stamps with your own photos, store some photos beforehand in a storage card or drive can avoid queuing for taking new photos.

Day 3: Paro
In the morning, you will have a trek to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest), which is the most famous Buddhist temple in Bhutan and located in the cliff side of the upper Paro valley. It will take a medium level of trek to get to the temple, but once you get there, all efforts will seem so worthwhile! Later, learn about the history and culture of Bhutan through exhibitions at the cylindrical Ta Dzong National Museum. Your tour will end at the Paro Dzong, where you can enjoy the stunning architecture and views surrounding.

Day 4: Paro, Departure
Today, you will have some free time before your guide transfers you to the airport for your flight back home.
