Day 1: Welcome to Bhutan
Upon arrival in Paro, your local guide and driver will meet and escort you to the hotel. After lunch, visit the highlights of Paro, including the Ta Dzong, the Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang and the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort). On a clear day, you can enjoy the view of Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan's second highest mountain at 7,314 meters in height.

Day 2: Paro
After breakfast, enjoy a medium level of hike to Taktsang Goempa (Tiger's Nest Monastery) for about 3 hours.On the way up, there is a viewpoint that you can get a panoramic view of this monastery hanging in the cliff side of the upper Paro Valley. At noon, you will descend back to the viewpoint cafeteria for lunch. Later, pay a visit to Kichu temple, atemple built originally in the 7th century.

Day 3: Trekking
You will have a four-day trek from today to fully experience Bhutan's pristine natural beauty and unique village culture. After breakfast, start your trek at the National Museum up to the campsite. You will enjoy the natural beauty of the Paro Valley and snow-capped mountainsen route. Lunch will be served outdoor as you have entered a remote area without restaurants. Above the camp is Jele Dzong (3,400m), which is also a lhakhang containing a statue of Buddha Sakyamuni. Stay in a tent which the guide will help set up and enjoy an outdoor dinner.

Day 4: Trekking
In the morning, you can walk around the Jele Dzong to take in the fresh air. Today is a short trekking day. The journey starts with a 1.5 hours climb up to the Jele La (3,490m). Walk around the campsite, you may find yak herders.

Day 5: Trekking
Today, continue the trek with a steep path to the Jangchulakha (4,180m), where offers stunning landscapes along your way. The campsite today is beside the Jimilangtsho Lakes, where you can enjoy a great view of Jichu Drake (6,989m).

Day 6: Trekking
The trekking trail today descends from the lower end of the lake to a single stone shelter and then ascends to a summit (4,050m), where you can overlook the Janetsho Lake. On the way, you may come across some yak herders' camps and get an idea of how these people live their life nomadically. The campsite today is near the Simkota Lake.

Day 7: Thimphu
Today begins with a consistent climb, and if the weather permits, you will enjoy majestic views of Mount Gangkar Puensum, and a host of other peaks. Continue your trek downhill to a community hall near Phajodhing. Passing through a forested area of mostly blue pines, you will arrive in Thimphu and complete the trek. After checking into the hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 8: Thimphu - Punakha
After breakfast, you will be driven to Punakha. Stop at the Dochula Pass (about 1 hour's drive), where you have a chance to get a superb view of the Eastern Himalayas by using a binocular telescope. Meanwhile, pay a short visit to Druk Wangye Temple to learn about the story of the beautiful 108 chortens. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to visit the Khamsum Yuley Temple, which is majestically located on a ridge with amazing views of the countryside.

Day 9: Punakha - Paro
In the morning, pay a visit to Punakha Dzong for the significant paintings and various statues inside the fortress. Later, you will head to Lobesa for visiting the Chhimi Lhakhang, which is also known as the Devine Madman's Monastery. After enjoying lunch at the Chimi Lhakhang cafeteria, you will be driven to Paro. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 10: Paro, Departure
Today, you will have some free time before your guide transfers you to the airport for your flight back home.
