Day 1: Paro Arrival
Welcome to the Kingdom of Bhutan. On your arrival in this pure land at the foot of eastern Himalayas, be met and transferred to your hotel by your private guide. Relax for the remainder of the day.

Day 2: Tiger's Nest Monastery & Drukgyel Dzong
Hike uphill to the holy Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) that perches on the cliff. En route, stop for coffee break and a panoramic view of the monastery and the fertile Paro Valley. After the hike, visit the Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress memorizing the victory over Tibetan invaders in 1649, from where you can see the fabulous Mt. Chomolhari in good weather.

Day 3: Paro - Thimphu (by private car, about 1.5 hrs), Thimphu Sightseeing
Head for the capital Thimphu, passing by the Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge along the way. When arriving in Thimphu, check into hotel and have lunch, before visiting the gems of this city: the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma Statue, Takin Sancturary, and magnificent Thimphu Dzong (Trashichho Dzong), the political and religious centre of Thimphu.

Day 4: Thimphu - Punakha (by private car, about 3 hrs), Punakha Sightseeing
Set off to the ancient capital Punakha. En route, stop at the famous Dochula Pass for coffee break and a visit of the impressive 108 stupas, perhaps the stunning distant view of Mt. Himalayas if weather permits. Proceed to the sacred Chimi Lhakhang and take in nice rice terrace view on the way. On your arrival in Punakha, check into hotel for a rest and then visit the breathtaking Punakha Dzong that sits quietly at the conjunction of two tranquil rivers, with time to a nearby Suspension Bridge as well.

Day 5: Punakha - Paro (by private car, about 3 hrs), Paro Highlights
Get back to Paro and continue your Paro sightseeing. Visit the regarded finest and most famous Dzong around Bhutan - Paro Dzong, followed by the circular Ta Dzong which is now served as the National Museum with rich collections. Next walk into the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang and ends today with a visit to a local family, where you can talk with local people and taste their homemade wine.

Enjoy the last morning in Paro and then take your onward flight to your next destination.
