Day 1: Paro - Thimphu (By Car, About 1.5 Hrs)
Welcome to Paro, Bhutan! Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and take you to visit the Paro Dzong, a large monastery used as the administrative centre and school for monks. After that, you will be driven to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and the rest of the day is free for you to have a rest.
Note: The actual driving time varies according to traffic, weather and road conditions.

Day 2: Hiking
Today, take a 45-minute drive to the north of Thimphu Valley. Upon arrival, enjoy a hike to Tango Monastery, in which the self-emanated form of the wrathful Hayagriva is deified. Stop for a picnic lunch and then head for Cheri Monastery, a major teaching and retreat centre of the Southern Drukpa Kagyu.

Day 3: Thimphu - Punakha
In the morning, your guide will escort you to Punakha. En route, you will have a coffee break at Dochula Pass, a mountain pass where 108 memorial stupas known as "Druk Wangyal Chortens" have been built. Go along the trail to admire the stunning beauty there (1.5 hours) and enjoy the enchanting views of Mt. Himalaya if the weather is good.
Upon arrival in Punakha, head for Punakha Dzong, the administrative centre and the former seat of the Government of Bhutan before checking in to the hotel.

Day 4: Punakha - Gangtey
Today, your hiking tour starts with a small suspension bridge across the Punakha River up to Khamsum Yuelley Chorten, and enjoy the beautiful sight of temple as well as the surroundings. Later, head for Lobyesa, where you can enjoy another a 20-minute hike to Chimi Lhakhang, which is popular among childless Bhutanese couples to seek blessings for fertility. After today's sightseeing, you will be transferred to Gangtey for checking in to the hotel.

Day 5: Gangtey - Paro
After breakfast at the hotel, you will set out for a visit to Gangtey Goempo, an important monastery of Nyingmapa school of Buddhism. Close by is the Gangtey Nature Trail, along which you can hike down to Khewa Lhakhang (1.5 hours). Stop for a short visit to the Semchubara Village with a square chorten on the way. After that, your guide will escort you to Paro.

Day 6: Paro
In the early morning, take a hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest), which is the most famous Buddhist temple in Bhutan and located in the cliff side of the upper Paro Valley. Continue your visit to the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, which was almost completely destroyed by fire in the early 1950s, but from here you can get a close view of Mt. Chomolhari. Later, get close to the daily life of Bhutanese people at a local farm house. Your tour will end at Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest and most beautiful temples.

Day 7: Paro
Today, you will enjoy a 2 hours' hike to Kila Goempa (Kila Nunnery), which is a home to Buddhist nuns and is located on a rocky cliff with a main temple and several meditation huts. Pass through a beautiful and magnificent forest to take in the beauty of nature and have a chance to overlook the Paro Valley. Later, come back to the motorable road and then transfer back to Paro.

Day 8: Paro, Departure
Today is at leisure until your guide escort you to the airport for your flight back home.
