Day 1: Arrival - Bangkok
Welcome to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand! When you arrive in Bangkok, your private guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the time can be spent wandering around the nearby shopping malls or relaxing at your hotel.

Day 2: City Highlights with Grand Palace and Long-Tail Boat
Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and start the city exploration from Pak Khlong Talat (the Flower Market) to feel how religious beliefs have penetrated the daily lives of ordinary people. Then, marvel at the glistening Royal Grand Palace and enjoy an authentic Thai lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, hop on a traditional long-tail boat sailing through the canals locally called Khlongs to discover the earthly of locals and capture the beautiful image of the splendid Wat Arun. Pay your respect to the massive Reclining Buddha at Wat Po and finish the contented day.

Day 3: Leisure Day in Bangkok
It is a leisure day to explore the bustling metropolis on your own, shopping around, sampling authentic local flavors hidden in backstreets, or taking an optional tour of the nearby floating market and train market.
Optional: floating market and train market
Get up early and drive for about two hours to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, swarmed with canoes overloaded with fresh fruits, exotic snacks, and colorful souvenirs. Get on a small wooden boat and squash through hundreds of vendors, practice your bargain skills, or try a piece of sizzling fried fish or other food you like.
Later, at the risky train market, see the peddlers rolling up and relaunching their stalls before and after the train comes and goes.

Day 4: Bangkok - Chiang Mai
After breakfast at the hotel, be transferred to the airport for the flight to Chiang Mai, the cultural center of northern Thailand. Upon arrival, be picked up by the local guide and driver.
After a break in the hotel, explore the city with your guide and visit the three most representative temples of Chiang Mai: Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Singh, and Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep.

Day 5: Elephant's Day Care
Visit Baan Chang Elephant Park and learn about Asian elephants and the people who dedicate their lives to caring for them. You will help to prepare food and feed these peaceable giants, stroll with them in their natural surroundings, bathe or play with them in the water, and even get a chance to see baby elephants in their nursery.

Day 6: Chiang Mai - Phuket
Free time in Chiang Mai until transferred to the airport for a late afternoon flight to Phuket. On arrival, be welcomed and transferred to the hotel.
Optional: cooking experience and lunch with a local Lanna family in Chiang Mai (join-in)
It's a chance to see an authentic neighborhood and get involved in traditional Thai life. On this tour, the host will take you to see his teakwood houses and vegetable herb gardens, show you how to make bamboo baskets and banana leaf cigars, and teach you to cook several dishes favored by the locals.

Day 7: Phuket
It is a leisure day to enjoy the sunshine and beach of Phuket or take an optional tour to explore the nearby island.
Optional: speedboat tour to Phi Phi Island and Khai Island, or James Bond Island Tour and nature canoe tour
With either one, you will take a speedboat to take in the magical landscape of nearby coves, discover karst caves or rustic villages, snorkel or swim in turquoise waters, or relax on sandy beaches.

Day 8: Phuket
Another free day to drink in the laidback vibe of Phuket.
Optional: full-day Koh Yao Noi tour with biking, beach-relaxing, and boating (join-in tour with lunch).
If you expect to connect with local communities in the south of Thailand, Koh Yao Noi, only a one-hour boat ride from Phuket, is an ideal destination. In this tour, you will cycle through a small market town adorned with rice paddies, old mosques, and humble fishing villages with spectacular ocean views. Another free day to drink in the laidback vibe of Phuket.

Day 9: Phuket - Departure
Conclude your memorable vacation in Thailand today. After breakfast at the hotel, wait for your guide to pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight.
