Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival, Chiang Mai

  Say hello to Chiang Mai! Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up and escort you to the hotel. After freshening up, start your journey with a visit to Meo Hill Tribe Village for an observation of local people's life. Head to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and take in an impressive view of the city. The temple itself has plenty to appreciate for history buffs.

• Day 2: Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai

  In the morning, transfer to Chiang Rai. On the way, make a short stopover at a hot spring. Continue to the Golden Triangle in Chiang Saen where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet together.

  In the afternoon, get to Mae Sai Border which is the main Thai-Myanmar border town up here. Conclude the day's sightseeing with a visit to Akha and Yao hill tribevillages on your way back to Chiang Mai.

• Day 3: Chiang Mai

  50 minutes north of Chiang Mai is Baan Chang Elephant Park, an ethically sound, sustainable refuge for man's largest friends on land. Leaving your hotel at 8:30 to 9:00 today by shuttle bus, you can visit them, touch them, wash them, play with them and even prepare their lunch and feed it to them! After lunch, visit the baby elephants who play and are cared for in their own nursery area. This Elephant's Day Care visit will remain with you forever.

• Day 4: Departure

  Today, enjoy your last stay in Chiang Mai after breakfast and then your guide will take you to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
