Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival, Delhi

  Welcome to India! Upon arrival, the representative will greet you and escort you to the hotel. Have a good rest after a long flight for tomorrow's trip.

• Day 2: Delhi

  Today, you will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting the Jama Masjid, the Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Raj Ghat, Laxmi Narayan Temple. Later, your driver will take you to go through the city landmarks of India Gate, President's House, Parliament House and Government Secretariat Buildings for you to take photos.

  Tips: Female tourists need to wear robes before visiting the Jama Masjid.

• Day 3: Delhi - Kathmandu

  In the morning, the representative will accompany you to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, another representative will greet you and escort you to the hotel. Then the rest of the day is at your own leisure.

• Day 4: Kathmandu - Patan (Lalitpur) - Kathmandu

  In the morning, stroll around Ason Tole Vegetable and Spice Market, a colorful and busy area where local people sell their goods. Set off to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where the "Living Goddess" of Kumari Temple overlooks the square from the south. Later on, have a glimpse of Taleju Temple and Kal Bhairav.

  In the afternoon, head to Patan Durbar Square which is a display of Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla Kings.

  At sunset, visit Swayambhunath to catch the sunset view over the Kathmandu Valley.

  Optional: If weather permits, prepare for a spectacular view of Mount Everest and the Himalayas on an optional exhilarating helicopter ride in the morning.

• Day 5: Kathmandu - Bhaktapur - Nagarkot

  In the morning, spend time at the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most famous and important Hindu sites in Nepal, and Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world's largest stupas.

  In the afternoon, head to Bhaktapur city and discover Bhaktapur Durbar Square, an outstanding spectacle. Later, proceed to Nagarkot and check in to the hotel. In the evening, if the weather is fine, enjoy the incredible sunset at your hotel and have a good rest.

• Day 6: Nagarkot - Kathmandu - Lucknow - Varanasi

  In the early morning, experience the spectacular sunrise from the snow-capped mountain. Continue to have a break then check out and transfer to Kathmandu city for the flight to Varanasi with a short stay at Lucknow. Upon your arrival, the representative will pick you up and take you to the hotel.

• Day 7: Varanasi

  Enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges River early in the morning as thousands of pilgrims come for their morning bathing rituals. After that, back to your hotel and have breakfast. Followed by is a brief tour to Banaras Hindu University, the Golden Temple and Bharat Mata Temple.

  In the afternoon, proceed to Sarnath (The Deer Park) to visit Sarnath Museum (closed on Fridays). In the evening, watch the unique Aarti ceremony performed in public by the river, a much awaited daily ritual.

• Day 8: Varanasi - Delhi - Agra

  In the morning, fly to Delhi and then the representative and driver will take you to Agra (approximately 4.5 hours). Check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your own leisure.

• Day 9: Agra

  Wake up for the glorious sight of the Taj Mahal, bathed by the first rays of dawn. When declaring it a world heritage site, UNESCO described it as "the jewel of Muslim art in India".

  In the afternoon, visit Agra Fort, an elegant building inside reflects an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. Conclude your day at Mehtab Bagh (moonlight garden), situated on the opposite bank of the Taj Mahal, to watch the sunset.

• Day 10: Agra - Jaipur

  In the morning, head to Jaipur with en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, an eerily abandoned capital of the Mughal Empire between1570 and 1586. Upon your arrival in Jaipur, check in to the hotel and then the rest of the day is free for you to make plans.

• Day 11: Jaipur

  In the morning after breakfast, start with an exhilarating excursion to Amber Fort known for artistic Hindu style elements. Inside the fort, view Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors). After that, get to the beautiful Maharaja City Palace as well as Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built in the early 1700s. Later, marvel at City palace, former royal residence and now a grand museum. The last stop is at Hawa Mahal designed for the royal ladies to enjoy the day to day activities of the street.

• Day 12: Departure

  After breakfast, check out and head to Delhi by car (around 6 hours). Upon arrival, you are free for independent activities until the representative escort you to the airport for your return flight.
