Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival, Kathmandu

  The representative will welcome and escort you to the hotel. You will get a brief introduction about the following tour on the way. Enjoy the rest time of the day and recover from the jet lag on your own.

• Day 2: Kathmandu - Patan (Lalitpur) - Kathmandu

  After breakfast, drive to visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can discover the rich culture of the Newari people with bustling narrow streets. Next, explore Ason Tole Vegetable and Spice Market before visiting Kumari Temple, which is dedicated to the living Goddess of Kanyakumari. After that, you will visit Taleju Temple and Kal Bhairav.

  In the afternoon, go to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the "Monkey Temple", overlooking most parts of the valley. Head for Patan Durbar Square to admire its distinct Newari architecture and arts.

• Day 3: Kathmandu - Bhaktapur - Kathmandu

  Start with Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples of Nepal, and then admire the semicircle shaped Boudhanath Stupa, from which you can see a beautiful view of the colorful houses.

  This afternoon, discover Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which contains a royal palace that took center stage as one of three royal capitals. Your tour of today will end with a discovery at Changu Narayan Temple which is adorned by some of the best specimen of stone, wood, and metal craft in the valley.

• Day 4: Kathmandu - Paro - Thimphu

  Today, fly to Bhutan. After arriving at the airport in Paro, your private guide will take you to the capital of Thimphu. Pass by Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge en route.

  After hotel check-in and lunch, visit National Memorial Chorten, a focus of daily worship for Bhutanese. Later, you will be marveled at Buddha Dordenma Statue housing over 100,000 smaller Buddha statues before continuing to Takin Sanctuary. End today's tour with a visit to Thimphu Dzong (Trashichho Dzong), the seat of Bhutan's government since 1952.

• Day 5: Thimphu - Paro

  After breakfast, set off to Folk Heritage Museum which provides visitors and tourists with fascinating insights into the Bhutanese material culture and their way of life. Go to National Painting School afterwards, a place operates four- to six-year courses that provide instruction in Bhutan's 13 kinds of traditional arts. Try to make some stamps with your own photos at your expense at Bhutan Post Office Headquarters.

  After lunch, start a drive to Paro, and stop to visit a farm house en route where you can have a close contact with local people and know about their life.

• Day 6: Paro

  Hike to Paro Taktsang also known as Tiger's Nest. The site is featured prominently in the National Geographic book "Sacred Places of a Lifetime", a showcase of the world's most powerful and spiritual places. Later, discover Ta Dzong National Museum. After that, move to the behind of the museum where Paro Dzong stands.

• Day 7: Paro - Delhi

  Today, leave for the airport to catch your flight to Delhi after breakfast. After arrival, the local representative will drive you to the hotel and help you check in.

• Day 8: Delhi

  In the morning, start a full-day tour with Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Raj Ghat. Later, you will drive past some city landmarks such as India Gate, President's House, Parliament House and Government Secretariat Buildings. Any stopover is available at any site. The last stop of today is Laxmi Narayan Temple.

• Day 9: Delhi - Jaipur

  In the morning, depart for Jaipur by car (about 5.5 hours). Jaipur is also called the Pink City in reference to its distinctly colored buildings. Whenever to stop for a coffee break or photo opportunities on the way is up to you. After arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest time of the day is at your leisure.

• Day 10: Jaipur

  After a drive to the foot of a hill, take a jeep ride up to the entrance of Amber Fort., which stands as a grand example of ancient Indian architecture. Later, visit the glorious Sheesh Mahal known as Palace of Mirrors. Make a stop at the pink Hawa Mahal known as Palace of the Wind for a photo opportunity, followed by City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar. Before driving back to the hotel, you will pass by the pink rose residential and business areas.

• Day 11: Jaipur - Agra

  Drive to Agra (about 4.5 hours) after breakfast. On the way, stop to explore a magnificent fortified ancient city, Fatehpur Sikri. Check-in and enjoy the rest of the day for leisure after arriving.

• Day 12: Agra

  Taj Mahal is an immense mausoleum of white marble built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. You will marvel at this mausoleum famed as the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage.

  In the afternoon, admire Agra Fort which is a beautiful example of Mughal design. Pay a visit to the Itmad-ud-daulah (Baby Taj) afterward. Later, end your day at the Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight Garden), where you could enjoy the Taj Mahal from a different angle.

  Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.

  After breakfast, spend about 4 hours being driven to the airport in Delhi for your onward flight to your next destination.
