Itinerary

• Day 1: Welcome to Delhi

  The representative will greet and take you to your hotel. After assistance with check-in and a brief introduction about the following tours, the rest time of the day is for you to recover from jet lag.

• Day 2: Delhi

  After breakfast, visit Jama Masjid noted for the central mosque of the Old Delhi during Shah Jahan period before exploring Chandni Chowk. You will then pass by Red Fort when driving to Qutub Minar with each storey marked by a projecting balcony, and then Mahatma Gandhi's memorial Raj Ghat.

  Later, drive past some famous city landmarks including India Gate, President's House, Parliament House and Government Secretariat Buildings with stopover available. Lastly, pay a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple famous for the first large Hindu temple built in Delhi.

• Day 3: Delhi - Agra

  In the morning, set off to Agra by car (about 5 hours). You can have stopover for coffee break or taking photos at any spot is available up to you on the way. After arrival, check into the hotel before enjoying high tea at Hotel Khema with the stunning Taj Mahal as backdrop.

• Day 4: Agra

  This morning, you will be marveled at the grand Taj Mahal, an immense mausoleum of white marble built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. It is also one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage.

  In the afternoon, admire Agra Fort which is a beautiful example of Mughal design. After that, watch a fascinating sunset at Mehtab Bagh (moonlight garden) over Taj Mahal.

• Day 5: Agra - Jaipur

  Start a morning drive to Jaipur (about 5 hours), Rajasthan's capital famous for the fascinating monuments and colorful markets. One the way, stop to explore a magnificent fortified ancient city, Fatehpur Sikri, also a fascinating ghost city built in the 16th century. After the visit, continue to Jaipur. Hotel check-in on arrival and enjoy the rest of the day by yourself.

• Day 6: Jaipur

  Start today's trip with Amber Fort which sits on a hill overlooking Maotha Lake. Take a jeep ride from the foot of the hill up to the entrance. The fort is known for its artistic Hindu-style elements that are evident around palaces.

  After that, visit the glorious Sheesh Mahal known as Palace of Mirrors. Make a stop at the pink Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar. Drive through the pink rose residential and business centers of Jaipur before getting back to the hotel.

• Day 7: Jaipur - Delhi - Colombo - Negombo

  It takes about 4.5 hours to transfer to Delhi and then fly to Negombo, Sri Lanka.

  Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, your chauffeur guide will pick you up and take you to your hotel in Negombo, a traditional seaside town only 20 minutes away from the airport. Rest of the day is free for you.

• Day 8: Negombo - Sigiriya

  Depart from your hotel early to catch the lively scene of seafood conducting and trading at Negombo Fish Market. You will find just about everything fresh from the sea here such as tuna, cuttlefish, crab, shrimp, lobster, even shark and rays, etc.

  In the afternoon, drive inland about 5 hours to Sigiriya.

• Day 9: Sigiriya

  Today, explore Lion Rock (Rock Fortress) which has a really special shape, nearly 200 meters high, and rises mysteriously from the jungle. It is a lovely place to imagine about the past glory of the ancient kingdom.

  In the afternoon, immerse yourself with the locals in the rural village of Hiriwadunna. Take a jeep or a tuk tuk into the countryside. You can also experience a boat ride at dusk across the river enjoying the gorgeous sunset view.

• Day 10: Sigiriya - Kandy

  Head for Dambulla Cave Temple in the morning. A total number of 153 Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings and four statues of gods and goddesses stand in the site. Leave for Kandy afterwards. It is worth visiting a spice garden on the way where you will learn much about spice knowledge, and it is highly recommended to experience 15 minutes' Ayurveda Massage.

  After arriving in Kandy, enjoy watching a Cultural Dance (Kandyan Dance) before entering Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a Buddhist temple housing one of Buddhism's most sacred relics and draws followers of the Buddhist faith from all over the world.

• Day 11: Kandy

  Pay an interesting visit to Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya. Its highlights include a fine collection of orchids, a stately avenue of royal palms, the extraordinary, aptly named cannonball fruit tree and 40m-high Burma bamboo. The afternoon is your leisure time.

• Day 12: Kandy - Galle

  Set off to Galle by car (around 6 hours) after enjoying your breakfast. After arrival in Galle, hotel check-in and rest of the day at leisure.

• Day 13: Galle

  The only attraction for today is the impressive Dutch Port, the best-preserved sea fort in South Asia. There is a saying that when it comes to the fortified town, nothing can compete with the Dutch Fort in Galle. Wander around the fort and enjoy the views before trying one of the local restaurants for dinner in the fort.

• Day 14: Galle - Colombo

  Board on a train at Galle Railway Station and travel northwards to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. The coastal railway route is scenic so and enjoyable. You will have many opportunities to take photos during the 3-4 hours' journey with beautiful views that the train passes by. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel with your chauffeur guide and rest of the day is at your leisure.

• Day 15: Departure

  After breakfast, your guide will take you to explore Colombo's highlights: Independence Square, Gangarama Temple, Galle Face Green, Colombo National Museum, the former British Administrative Center, along the trip you can stop to take some pictures. In the late afternoon, leave for CMB airport to fly to your next destination.
