My Odyssey Tours Is Proud to be the First ChildSafe Supporter in China

My Odyssey Tours is proud to be the first Chinese supporter of ChildSafe, a movement actively protecting children and youth. This is a further step in enhancing our corporate social responsibility project, My Odyssey Tours Cares.

Together with the United Nations Convention, the ChildSafe Movement was established in 2005, aiming to improve the quality and impact of marginalized children and youth. Thanks to its campaigns, over 9 million people are aware of the importance of the issue, and more than 100,000 children benefit from the Movement.

Now, we have hundreds of staff both at home and abroad. We don't just tell our guests about ChildSafe; we also get our staff certified in ChildSafe and help protect children. And of course, there's more we can do in the future.

Actually, we've already been engaged in the protection before being the supporter of ChildSafe. Since we started to launch our CSR project, our staff has brought a great number of supplies to the schools in need during business trips to some underdeveloped areas in Southeast Asia and South Asia. Our footprints have been found in many destinations, such as Myanmar, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and Bhutan.

We brought sports equipment to the Central Monastic Primary School in Bhutan and took a photo with these lovely students before leaving.

My Odyssey Tours Cares is a non-profit project, aiming to make a difference in destinations that people live in and travelers visit. Its themes cover many aspects, including Animal & Environment, Community Development, Disaster Relief, as well as Education & Life.

Lois added, "We put Education & Life as the starter of our CSR project. In the coming year, we'll make an extension to Community Development and help more people in need."
