Day 1: Arrival, Yangon
Say hello to Myanmar! Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. In the late afternoon, tour the outstanding Shwedagon Pagoda decorated with diamonds gleaming in gold, along with a temple complex around it. In ancient times, this was the place where relics of three predecessors of Buddha were kept according to legend.
When the sun gets low to the horizon, enjoy the fascinating sunset over the pagoda.

Day 2: Yangon
In the morning, head to Chauk Htat Gyi Buddha Temple which houses the enormous 65 meters long sleeping Buddha statue wearing a golden robe. Next, transfer to the Sule Pagoda, an important Yagon landmark which contains a single hair relic of the Buddha. Adjacent to the pagoda is the Maha Bandula Park where you can have a glimpse of two commemorative blue plaques and the Yangon City hall. Next, stroll in Indian Town and Chinatown.
In the afternoon, spend a few hours at the Bogyoke Aung San Market filled with vendors selling a variety of souvenirs, trendy clothes, accessories and anything else you might look for.

Day 3: Yangon - Bagan
Take the early flight to Bagan in the morning. When you get there, experience local culture at the Nyaung U Market. Next is the Shwezigon Pagoda which is regarded as the prototype of all the stupas in Myanmar. After that, transfer to Hitilominlo Temple, a double-storied structure rising 150 feet above the ground level.
In the afternoon, get to a lacquer-ware workshop to understand the process of making lacquerware. Later, proceed to the Gubyaukgyi Temple known for Bagan's best-preserved mural paintings dating back to 11th century. Later on, watch the sunset at one of the viewing mounds.

Day 4: Bagan
Today, make a day trip to Mount Popa, one of the most prominent pilgrimage sites of the country where thousands of pilgrims and tourists flock each year to see Nat temples and numerous relic sites on this volcanic mountain top. En route, drop by a local village to have a look at the real life in Myanmar. Along the road back to Bagan, visit a palm sugar workshop.

Day 5: Bagan - Mandalay
Fly to Mandalay in the morning. Upon your arrival, head to the Mahagandhayon Monastery, Myanmar's largest Buddhist monastery accommodating more than 1,000 young monks, followed by a visit to City Harbor Bridge.
In the afternoon, continue to visit Sagaing Hill to see small pagodas and many meditation centers. You'll then board a boat to view the U Bein Bridge and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Taungthaman Lake.

Day 6: Mandalay
Enjoy a happy day with a boat trip (about 1 hr) crossing the Ayeyarwaddy River, and then visit the Mingun Bell which is said to be the largest hanging un-cracked bell in the world. Next, you'll head to the awe-inspiring Mingun Pahtodawgyi before a visit to Settawya Pagoda and Hsinbyume Pagoda.
You'll then back to Mandalay and explore the Mahamuni Pagoda, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay Hill to see the impressive sunset.

Day 7: Mandalay - Heho - Inle Lake
In the morning, fly to Heho. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and take you to the hotel at Inle Lake. After a short break, proceed to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, which houses five unique Buddha images covered with many gold leaves in order to protect their original structure, and drop by a local village to know the traditional way of silk making with wooden handlooms and iron wares.

Day 8: Inle Lake
Enjoy a nice sightseeing of Inle Lake in the morning and go to a local market to experience the busy vibes of the local community. Next, take a boat tour to the Indein Village to see its crumbling and atmospheric groups of ancient pagodas and local people's agricultural life. There's no schedule in the afternoon, so you can walk around the area on your own.

Day 9: Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon
You'll take the flight to Yangon. Upon your arrival, your guide will pick you up and accompany you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or discover the city.

You are free at own leisure before your guide escorts you to the airport for your return flight.
