Day 1: Arrival - Kuala Lumpur
Hello and welcome to Kuala Lumpur! Our representatives will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in; the rest of the time is free for you to explore the city, look for specialties, or simply relax at the hotel.

Day 2: Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast at the hotel, go out for a private guided tour to discover this vibrant city. Admire the fascinating architecture of the King's Palace (no entry into the building). Step into the National Museum to gain an overview of Malaysian history and culture. Pay respects to the heroes who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom at the National Monument. Take a stroll around Independence Square surrounded by many historic buildings, such as the original Kuala Lumpur Railway Station in Moorish style. Make a photo stop in front of Petronas Twin Towers, the most famous landmark in Malaysia.

Day 3: Kuala Lumpur - Malacca
Depart for Malacca, about 2.5 hours drive away.
Upon arrival, follow your tour guide to explore this charming historic town. You'll visit the St Peter's Church, the Porta De Santiago - the main gate of the ruined A Famosa Fort, the ruins of St. Paul's Church, the Dutch Administration office, and Cheng Hoon Teng Temple. At the end of the tour, stroll around Jonker Street, the primary road of Malacca's Chinatown, to browse and shop.
Lunch will be on your own today to try its famous Nonya food.

Day 4: Malacca - Kuala Lumpur - Penang
Enjoy your free time in Malacca till driving back to Kuala Lumpur airport to catch your flight to Penang.
Upon arrival, take a private transfer to the hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure. If you prefer, go out to explore the cultural and heritage-rich streets at your own pace.

Day 5: Penang
Take a stroll around the wet and flea markets, where you can find everything from fresh produce to vinyl records and vintage kitchen trays. Visit the Kek Lok Si Temple later. As one of the finest temple complexes in Southeast Asia with numerous beautiful carvings and images of Buddha, it's great for you to experience the Buddhist beliefs of Malaysians and observe their daily activities. After that, ascend Penang Hill with a funicular train for a panoramic view of George Town along with its stunning east coastline.

Day 6: Penang - Kota Kinabalu
After breakfast at the hotel, be escorted to the airport for the flight to Kota Kinabalu. Upon arrival, your local guide and driver will greet you and take you to the hotel. Settle into your room and have dinner.

Day 7: Kota Kinabalu
Have an excursion to Kinabalu Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its abundant animal and plant resources. Walk along the vast network of jungle trails to enjoy birds and flowers, as well as its refreshing and cooling air. On a clear day, you can even spot a majestic view of Mount Kinabalu.
After that, proceed to the Poring Hot Spring, famous for its sulfur thermal baths, and the lowland forest with huge dipterocarp trees. You can soak yourself in its hot spring baths or experience the breathtaking treetop walk on the 41-meter-tall canopy walkway.

Day 8: Kota Kinabalu - Sandakan - Kinabatangan River
Fly to Sandakan in the morning.
Once landing, your tour guide will take you to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Here you'll learn something about orangutans, featuring long arms and reddish-brown hair. They live freely in the forest behind and probably come to the feeding platform to enjoy their diet supplement at around 10:00 a.m. daily. After the tour, take a boat cruise up to the Abai Jungle Lodge by the Lower Kinabatangan River. Lunch at Abai Jungle Restaurant and then have a break. The cruise in the late afternoon and jungle walk around the property at night will unfold a wonderful world of the Mangrove Forest to you.

Day 9: Abai - Sukau
Wake up by the calls of nature for an early morning cruise to Pitas Oxbow Lake, enjoying wildlife along the river including proboscis monkeys and pygmy elephants. Return to the lodge for refreshments and continue the cruise upriver to Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge for check-in.
In the late afternoon, glide across the water to Menanggul River, a small tributary of the Kinabatangan, to spot more wildlife.

Day 10: Kinabatangan River - Lahad Datu - Danum Valley
Have an early breakfast and travel about two hours by road to Lahad Datu town, where Borneo Nature Tours Office is located. After registration and briefing, drive another two hours to Danum Valley Borneo Rainforest Lodge.
In the afternoon, walk along the nature trails and canopy walkway at 26 meters high for a close-up observation of the rainforest. As the night falls, ride on an open-air vehicle out in search of nocturnal animals.

Day 11: Danum Valley
Enjoy a morning jungle trek in the forest. Stop at the "Coffin Cliff", and listening to your guide sharing aboriginal burial culture. Then, visit the "View Point" for a bird's eye view of the area.
For the afternoon, you may want to go on another jungle trek or just unwind in the lodge to refuel your energy for the fun night walk.

Day 12: Danum Valley - Lahad Datu - Kota Kinabalu
Take the morning to enjoy at your leisure or go out for an early morning walk. After lunch, check out of the lodge and head to Lahad Datu Airport to catch your flight back to Kota Kinabalu. Upon touchdown, be escorted to the hotel for some rest.

Day 13: Kota Kinabalu, Departure
Time to say goodbye. After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time until your guide comes to the hotel and takes you to the airport for departure.
