Day 1: Arrival, Tokyo
On arrival at Narita International Airport, you will be met by our airport assistant who will guide you to take the public transportation to get to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free on leisure or explore Japan's capital at your own pace.

Day 2: Tokyo City Tour
Get up early to explore the world's biggest fresh fish market - Tsukiji Fish Market (closed on Sundays and some Wednesdays). Enjoy a delicious sushi breakfast there. Onward, you will visit famous the Imperial Palace and its East Garden, Meiji Jingu Shrine, and Senso-ji Temple.
Later, you are recommended to get a bird's view of Tokyo from the Shinjuku Skyscraper or enjoy karaoke in a local karaoke bar.

Day 3: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone - Tokyo, Join-in Group Tour
Early morning, be met at your hotel. Enjoy this one-day guided tour to the majestic Mt. Fuji and Hakone. It includes a stop at the Fuji Visitor Center, a trip up to Mt. Fuji's 5th station at an elevation of 2,300 meters, a 15-minute cruise on pristine Lake Ashi, and a 5-minute ride on the Komagatake Ropeway which boasts great views of the surrounding Hakone National Park.
Ride the Shinkansen back to Tokyo Station. You will take the subway back to your hotel by yourself.

Day 4: Tokyo - Nagano
Travel by train to Nagano with your guide in the morning. On arrival, take a bus to Yamanouchi. Walk to the Jigokudani Monkey Park and enjoy a privately guided tour. Next, you'll be transferred by private vehicle to your accommodation at a local ryokan, where you can enjoy a warm dip in the lovely onsen baths.
Note: Japanese onsen baths are typically taken without swimsuits.

Day 5: Nagano Free Day
On this day, it is recommended to enjoy skiing in a local ski resort (at your own expense).

Day 6: Nagano - Takayama
Travel by train to Takayama this morning on your own. Check in the hotel. In the afternoon, you are recommended to walk around the San-machi-suji District (many wine factories on the street). You will also have a good chance to explore the pretty streets of this peaceful town, take some good photos.

Day 7: Takayama City Tour
Today, you will be escorted to explore the Morning Market Miyagawa, visit the Hida Kokubun-ji Temple, Hida Minzoka Mura Folk Village (Hida no Sato), explore the Takayama Showa-kan (museum, showing the old things between 1955-1965).
After the tour, get back the hotel for rest.

Day 8: Takayama - Shirakawa-go - Kanazawa
Travel to Shirakawa-go by public bus this morning (about 1 hour). You will enjoy those well reserved traditional houses at Gassho-zukuri Village. On arrival, you will take the public bus to Kanazawa. Check in to the hotel on your own.

Day 9: Kanazawa
Your tour begins with discovery to the Kenrokuen Garden and the Nagamachi District (the former home of samurai). After that, stroll along the quaint Higashi Chayagai Teahouse Street and Geisha Area.

Day 10: Kanazawa - Kyoto
Today, you will take a train to Kyoto. Upon arrival, you will be guided by our local assistant to take the public transportation to your hotel.

Day 11: Kyoto City Tour
Enjoy the full day guided tour by public transportation in Kyoto, including the glittering Kinkaku-ji Temple and impressive Nijo Castle. Continue to visit the Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Sanjusangendo Hall before returning to your hotel.

Day 12: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
You will have a half-day private guided tour to take leisure walking in the amazing Fushimi-Inari Shrine. After that, travel to the Nara by Shinkansen. Your Nara discovery tour includes a visit to Todai-ji Temple with the big Dainichi Buddha and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and play together with the national treasures - deer in the Nara Park.
