Day 1: Welcome to India
Upon arrival in Kochi, the representative will meet you with a warm welcoming smile and escort you to the hotel for check-in. Later, you will get a brief introduction of your following tour. The rest of the day is free for you to have a rest and recover from the jet lag.

Day 2: Kochi
Today, start with a tour to Fort Kochi. This is part of a handful of water-bound regions toward the south-west of the mainland Kochi and collectively known as Old Kochi or West Kochi. Stroll along the quaint narrow lanes to visit the Dutch Palace, which was built and gifted by the Portuguese as a present to the king of Kochi (close on Fridays and national holidays). Next, you will visit St Francis Church and Jew Town, which surrounds India's oldest Jewish Synagogue (close on Fridays, Saturdays, and Jewish holidays). In the end, your guide will take you to see the local fishermen using the old Chinese fishing nets at the harbor.

Day 3: Kochi - Munnar
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Munnar, a town and hill station located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and the rest of the day is free for you to have a rest or go out to enjoy the natural beauty.

Day 4: Munnar
After breakfast at the hotel, you will spend a full day to explore idyllic Munnar. Pay a visit to the sprawling tea plantations, and then take an adventure at pristine valleys and mountains. Enjoy the landscape and smell of exotic species of flora and fauna.

Day 5: Highlights of Periyar
After breakfast, head to Periyar Tiger Reserve, a huge place with great scenic charm and rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. After that, you will have some leisure time to walk around one of the spice plantations and learn about some plants.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a leisure cruise on the Periyar Lake, which is at the heart of the Reserve and you may have a chance to observe lots of wildlife drinking water on the river bank.
Optional: In the evening, a martial art performance named the Ancient Kalaripayattu would be a good night-out choice.

Day 6: Periyar - Alleppey
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, where you will embark on your houseboat to enjoy a relaxing overnight cruise along the serene backwater of Kerala. You can get close to not only the natural beauty but also the daily life of villagers who live on the banks of the backwater. Delicious Kerala specialties would be offered on board by the houseboat staff.

Day 7: Alleppey - Kovalam
After breakfast, your backwater cruise will complete. Disembark at Alleppey and then drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to have a rest or enjoy the time on your own.

Enjoy a leisure time on the beach or a wealth of optional activities, such as special cultural programs and catamaran cruising.
