Day 1: Chengdu
Welcome to China! On your arrival at Chengdu airport, your tour guide is ready for your private transfer to the hotel. After checking in hotel, the rest of the day is yours to recover from the jet lag, or simply step out to explore the city on your own.

Day 2: Chengdu
Today, you'll first see the adorable giant pandas at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Next, visit the Wenshu Temple for a cup of traditional Chinese tea in the tea house inside the temple.
After that, take a leisure stroll through the Jinli Old Street to absorb its sights, sounds and smells.

Day 3: Chengdu - Lhasa
This morning, you're free at leisure till to be escorted to the airport and fly to Lhasa. As soon as you arrive at the Gonggar airport, your local guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The rest hours of the day are yours to get used to the high altitude.

Day 4: Lhasa
Today you'll see all the highlights of Lhasa city: Potala Palace, which is the city's cardinal landmark and the residence of Dalai Lama; Jokhang Temple, which is considered by Tibetans to be the most sacred and important temple; and Barkhor Street, the oldest street in Tibet where pilgrims do their prayer there every day.

Day 5: Lhasa
Take a 1.5-hour drive to visit the serene Yomdrok Lake, one of the three sacred lakes of Tibet. Return to Lhasa and explore the Sera Monastery, which is located in the northern outskirts of Lhasa and regarded as one of the three largest monasteries of Tibet.

Day 6: Lhasa - Kathmandu
Free until your local guide escorts you to the airport for your onward flight to Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, meet Odyssey representative who will escort you to the hotel to check in and brief you about the following tours. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 7: Kathmandu - Patan (Lalitpur) - Kathmandu
You'll begin today's tour with a visit to Kathmandu Valley, firstly start from Ason Tole Vegetable and Spice Market, a busy market where vendors presenting the vivid local life of Nepali people. Proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can explore the Kumari Temple, home to a living Goddess and have an external view of Taleju Temple and Kal Bhairav.
In the afternoon, transfer to the city of Patan (about 15-minute drive) to see the Panta Durbar Square, one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley.
When the sun sets, visit Swayambhunath, a stupa on the top of the hill where you can get a panoramic view of the Kathmandu city.Optional: In the morning, if weather permits, take a mountain flight to see Mt. Everest & Himalaya up-close. The trip takes about one hour and costs around USD200 per person. All seats are window guaranteed.

Day 8: Kathmandu - Bhaktapur - Kathmandu
After breakfast, visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world's biggest Buddhist shrines where you can see Buddhist monks praying in the monasteries surrounding the stupa. Next, pay a visit to Pashupatinath, the best-known Hindu temple in Nepal.
In the afternoon, head for Bhaktapur city where you will tour Bhaktapur Durbar Square, one of the seven UNESCO's World Heritage Sites of the Kathmandu Valley. Later, experience the Changu Narayan Temple, the oldest temple in the Kathmandu Valley, offering an amazing view of the surrounding countryside. Later, head back to Kathmandu and enjoy your free time.

Day 9: Kathmandu - Pokhara (4.5 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast, start your 4.5-hour road trip to Pokhara, Nepal's second biggest city which can be a perfect place both for adventure and leisure as it is the gateway to world-famous treks in and around the Annapurna range. On the way you'll visit Bandipur which is a hilltop settlement in Tanahu District and regarded as a living museum of Newari culture. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, you may start exploring the city from Pokhara Bazaar on your own.

Day 10: Pokhara
First, take a laid-back boat ride on Phewa Lake to feel its charm and serenity, followed by a climb of the World Peace Pagoda which offers lovely view of Phokara city, Phewa Lake and Annapurn amountains. Next, visit Devi's Fall, a famous waterfall where you can try your luck on the luck pond constructed there by throwing and placing the coin on the statue of god, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave which is 3 km long with undulating terrain ranging from large hall-sized rooms to narrow passages, and International Mountain Museum which exhibits famous peaks, mountaineers, and the culture and lifestyle of mountain people.

Day 11: Pokhara - Kathmandu
Today, rise early to visit Sarangkot viewpoint for the spectacular sunrise over the mountain peaks. Take a flight back to Kathmandu after that. In the afternoon, take a stroll around Thamel district packed with fascinating streets and lanes.
Optional: An evening cultural feast of Nepali traditional dinner and dancing may help you unwind after a full day's exploration.
